The corners are square and not crushed or distorted, the spine is free of creases or cracking. The sleeve is in pristine condition, it's gatefold and doesn't really show any significant signs of wear, given its age. It still has the original EMI inner sleeve with pictures of their current releases from 1970 and still has its original poly liner. Check out the photos, and you'll see for yourself that this is an album that has been cherished and barely touched. The labels are in near mint condition there's just a few marks made by the record deck spindle. I suspect most people would call this MINT.Īnother difference that distinguishes this from 2nd pressings is that it has the sound of a tap dripping on the run out grooves on side 2, if you don't have a return arm on your deck the drip will run continuously. The grooves looks very clear and sharp and there are no surface marks, the record plays without any pops, clicks or jumps. The record is very heavy and has its original gloss, it's only been played a couple of times. All later pressings had the logo and EMI records on the rim. Ltd" on the outer rim of the label and it doesn't have the EMI logo on the label.
